I wasn’t feeling my best on arrival at Newcastle, on account of playing a jungle set at The Proper in Manchester – where i was joined on stage by the mc Dub FX – the previous night, and not sleeping in between (i blame kids and old women on the train). Luckily the sun was shining and i was soon tucking into proper greasy fish & chips.

The Rollies crew were all great, must be something about the north east people – they are always up for it. The festival was right up on the moors above Durham, and the turnout was good. The rig on offer was a combination of two smaller systems and sounded devasting when installed in the barn. Trouser flapping was definitely on the menu.
